Michel Bras (born 4 November 1946) is a French chef renowned for his culinary artistry.

Located in Laguiole, a picturesque village in the Aveyron region of France, Michel Bras’ eponymous restaurant has been a beacon of gastronomic excellence. Since 1999, it has consistently held three Michelin stars, a testament to Bras’ mastery in the kitchen. The restaurant is also part of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux association since 1992.
Bras’ cooking style is often described as “creative.” He seamlessly blends fresh herbs and edible flowers into his dishes, creating harmonious flavors. Notably, he is credited with inventing the molten chocolate pudding and perfecting the intricate gargouillou, a composition of vegetables, herbs, leaves, and flowers that can feature up to 80 ingredients on any given day.
Collaboration with His Son: In 2003, Michel Bras joined forces with his son, Sébastien, and their restaurant became Bras Michel & Sébastien. Together, they continued to elevate their culinary offerings.
