Bruno Barbieri (born 12 January 1962) is an Italian chef, restaurateur, writer, and television personality. His culinary achievements have made him one of the best-known chefs in Italy and around the world.

Bruno Barbieri was born into an Italian family in Emilia-Romagna. His father moved to Spain when Bruno was 7 years old, where he stayed for 15 years. His mother worked in the textile industry, instilling in him a passion for fashion. Meanwhile, his grandmother passed down her love for food and cuisine. Bruno graduated from a hospitality vocational high school in Bologna.

In 1979, he worked as a sous-chef on a cruise ship, exploring cuisines from different countries.
After returning to Italy, he worked in restaurants along the Romagna coast.
He joined the restaurant Locanda Solarola in Castel Guelfo di Bologna, where the restaurant earned two Michelin stars within two years.
Later, he worked at Il Trigabolo in Argenta, Emilia-Romagna, which also received two Michelin stars during the 1990s.
In 2002, he opened Arquade in Hotel Villa del Quar-Relais and Châteaux in San Pietro in Cariano, Veneto, which earned two Michelin stars and 3 Gambero Rosso “forks.”
Bruno left Arquade in July 2010 and briefly moved to Brazil.
In March 2012, he opened Cotidie restaurant in London, later passing it to chef Marco Tozzi in 2013 due to his busy schedule.
In 2016, he launched Fourghetti in Bologna, which he handed over to Erik Lavacchielli in August 2020.

Bruno Barbieri is the author of popular Italian shows, including MasterChef Italy and its various versions (Junior, Celebrity, and All Stars). He collaborates with other renowned television chefs such as Carlo Cracco, Antonino Cannavacciuolo, Joe Bastianich, Giorgio Locatelli, Alessandro Borghese, Lidia Bastianich, and Antonia Klugmann.
He also created the talent show Bruno Barbieri – 4 hotel, a spin-off of Alessandro Borghese – 4 ristoranti.
